Hey! I have a 3 year old little boy who was peeing exclusively on the toilet for about a good months straight. no accidents.. staying dry during naps and over night. we were THRILLED ! :) he was doing AMAZING! But he would not poop in the toilet. if i tried he would throw a fit and scream like i was killing him- so i backed off a little because i didnt want him to be traumatized...So ive caught him a few times and ran to the bathroom with him.. but NOTHING.
I dont know if hes scared of doing it in the toilet or what.. but he is back to doing both 1 & 2 in his pull up. He will pee when i put him on the potty, but when it comes to poop. No way is he having it. No sooner do i have a pull up on him, does he poop in it.
Its like he regressed or something, because he used to RUN to go pee, but now its like he couldnt be bothered. And would rather just pee in his pants then stop playing long enough to go. But what stumps me is that he was going for a month straight.. then stopped..
Ive done the sticker chart, prizes, little rewards.. and its like he has ZERO interest in it at all. Which is weird because he was SO excited about peeing like a big boy i thought we were well on our way.
I m getting pretty frustrated, because i know he can do it, because hes shown me he can. its like as soon as i started trying to get him to poop in the toilet.. it all went downhill...
help me.. PLEASE!!!!
