So Frustrating

Jun 18, 2009 8:29 AM
My son will be 3 in a few weeks and potty training him seems hopeless. I've bought him several pairs of "big boy" boxers to encourage him and get him used to not feeling a pull-up and he still has problems. He will wear the boxers but he keeps peeing in my floor. I have a 6yr old daughter who pretty much decided on her own to use the potty when she was 3 and by 4 she was fully potty trained. She's had maybe 3 or 4 accidents but she's never even wet the bed. I want my son to be able to start head start in September but he can't if he's not completely potty trained. Plus his Dad and his dad's family make me feel like just b/c he's not potty training I don't know what im doing. But they're 7 hrs away from me and I'm the only one working with my son to use the potty. I'm just so frustrated sometimes I think they're right but @ the same time I don't wanna force him to potty. He really doesn't even like sitting on the potty. But he's independent in everything else I figured he might be ready. Any advice??!!
