Don't give her a treat if she goes in her panties. Only if she uses the toilet. Period. Every single time she has an accident rinse her in COLD water. I have been doing this with my son and it's starting to work. I don't tell him it's punishment, I just tell him I have to rinse him when he has an accident and if he doesn't want to rinse he needs to go potty so he doesn't get messy. I use stickers and a timer and so far it's working. I just started these methods after months of hell trying to get him to even walk willingly into the bathroom.

He isn't telling me when he has to go, he tells me afterwards. He will willingly go into the bathroom though which is progress and he does tell me when he needs to go when we are away from home like at the store, playground, friends houses, etc. No potty in toilet, no treats, not up for discussion. Period. Kids need consistency. It takes patience and lots of repetition. My son is starting a new daycare at the end of next month and I want him to be well on his way to being trained.

My little one will be three in four weeks and lately the only time she will sit on the potty is when we put her on the potty. We have tried everything but it is like she doesnt know she has to go what do I do? she wants to go and do thangs but when I ask her to go potty she says no and keeps playing I dont want to and when she knows that there are treats she will go in her panties and the tell us so that so can get the treat. some help us?
