Okay, I am re-visiting today to say that maybe this isn't so bad after all. I don't like the "grabbing of the crotch" in the videos, but, my mom pointed out that regardless, this dance might have really helped my sister who would get really upset about using the potty way back when she was potty training. Aww.... hearing that did the trick. I felt sad about thinking negatively of a tool that could help make this situation easier for kids - and their parents! If this video helps kids and their parents, then I'm for it. Forgive me for my narrow-mindedness.

The Potty Dance is awesome! My granddaughter has made the connection between what this whole potty thing is about. She is totally trained now and now even two yet. I think waiting until the last nanasecond before you send your child to school to train them is what is disgusting. Why would a child be afraid of this video? My first thought was "good grief", but then again, it wasn't marketed to a middle aged women. Do the Potty Dance and have fun!

Exactly. Even as a child, I knew this was a "private" thing - I know this commercial would have made me uncomfortable!!

We do teach them not to do this or at least in out in public. I can't believe they do it on tv and show children it's ok to do.

I'm glad someone else agrees!! I sent an e-mail to the customer service department and called as well. I don't blame your 6 year old for being horrified by it. I would have been so embarrassed as a child by this commercial!! Shoot - I'm embarrassed as an adult by it!!

Also, haven't parents always tried to gentle guide their children away from putting their hands on their crouch when they have to use the restroom? I can't believe there's a song and dance that encourages this!!

It felt like an April Fool's joke when I saw this commercial today..... I was it had been!!

I SOOO totally agree and i came back on the site for the exact same reason. I have a new baby due in Aug. and reg. on the site JUST to tell them how horrible that song and commercial is. It's pretty bad when my 6yr old daughter was horrified by it.
I also hate how commercials are going rap or ganger style. I think children get too much exposure to it as they grow up to be shown it on potty commercials also.

I just saw the potty dance on TV and was terribly shocked!!! So much so, that I registered just to post here. This dance and song is undignified, terribly distasteful, inappropriate, and so unclassy. I also find it a bit creepy that "adults" were doing the dance as well. What happened to keeping things classy?? I appreciate Pull Ups wanting to help, but teaching kids an inappropriate dance and song *is not* the way to do that!!!
