When I put my 2 daughters in the cool alert pull- ups at night, the cool alerts kept them up all night, no rashes though. My older sister tried the cool alert pull- ups on her 2 younger kids, but the middle one (my niece) was allergic to the cool alerts. The youngest one (my nephew) the cool alerts kept him up just like my 2 daughters. At least the oldest (my nephew) never wore the cool alert pull- ups. My eldest nephew wore goodnites. I am not to impressed by the cool alerts.

I'm glad this website is here because I was trying to figure out what gave my son this horrible, I mean truly horrible rash all over, he is very allegic to these cool alerts and he broke out all over, started on pubic area but spread under arms, swelled up hands and feet, went to the doctor in a panic but we were not sure what sparked the reaction, after reading your board I think it may be your diapers, you may want to pull these from the shelves!!!

My 2.5 year old daughter is having bad reactions to the pull ups. She is showing signs of a bad rash and will not let me near it to put medicine on. She continues to scream and cry if I try to get near her privates. After having two boys and not experiencing this type of problem, it makes me wonder what else is going on with her at daycare?!?!?!?

My 2 year old son also broke out in a rash like the one that you described. Has anyone gotten back to you to let you know what it could be from or how to get rid of it? I have tried diaper rash cream and it doesn't seem to be working. It hurts him alot and he doesn't want to go potty now because it burns so badly.
Thanks

My daughter is 2 years old and has been wearing pull-ups for awhile now. She is still learning to go on the potty. She loves feeling like a big girl. However, since the new design change, my daughter also has broke out in a horrible rash with blisters all over. I had to stop using the pull-ups. I am very disappointed because I loved the pull-ups as did she with the princess design. Now, I have a whole case of pull-ups that she cannot wear!!!

cynthia, i am sorry to hear about your problem with the pull ups, i too am a mother with a little 2 and a half yr old. however, having these pulled from the shelves is useless. if this was caused by the pull ups themselves they wouldnt be on the market. my guess is that your son had an allergy to the components in the cool alerts. my daughter has tried just about every thing on the market from store brands to good nights and i can tell u i have come across a few that had that effect on her. my suggestion is dont buy it again if that is what happened shop around and find out what he does and does not have an allergy to that is the best way to find out what you can use that will help him. I am not trying to be rude, i just want you to9 know that small children, mine included do have sensitive skin and sometimes there are fragrances or ingredients in these products that affect all children differently the fact is though that if one child gets a rash or even 10 or 12 they wont pull it they will tell you not to buy it lol. its not a bad product they should just look into making a pull up for sensitive skin like they did with the diapers, kids and adults alike gr0w up with skin issues and in my opinion it would be nice to see some products for toddlers with sensitive skin as well :)

The fact tat this message was pulled says a lot!
My son, too has had a bad experience with these..he had severe diaper rash while wearing it and even had blisters break out on his skin! It was so bad after only a few minutes of wearing it that he could barely walk!
I know this will be pulled, too...apparently the company only likes it when you rave about the product and doesn't want anyone to know of any negative feed back...I however, will be posting everywhere I can to get the word out until this product is PULLED FROM THE SHELVES

My daughter is 2 yrs-3 mos and rebelling with potty training. I started with the 'fade' pants and didn't get a lot of response from her when she wet herself. The Cool Alerts, however, she tells me IMMEDIATELY when she wets herself. I'm very pleased with the Cool Alerts. However, to transition from the 'telling me after the fact" to "notify before it happens" is going to be the trick.

Not impressed with the new huggies cool alerts!

I would prefer to buy the original pull-up. These new cool alerts soak very quickly, and they tear up easily. My 2 year old pees alot. I mean he really has a small bladder. I need something that is going to be good for him. Not huggies cool alerts. Some people may like them, but just not for us.
