Although Pull-Ups are awesome when there is a yucky accident, there are other brands that pull up without the "easy" open sides, but where they can still be torn (by an adult). Avoid Wal-Mart brand because they also tear easily.
I have 4 kids in Pull-Ups right now. 2 yr old triplet girls and a 5 yr old boy who wears them at night for occasional accidents. My issue is with the easy open sides. I pass out the Pull-Ups 4 or 5 times a day to the girls who can put them on themselves. Once in a while we get a pack that seems to be faulty almost. The girls all start saying "it broke mommy!" That means that the sides came apart as they were trying to put them on, not good! I have to go pinch the sides together for them and that is such a pain. I buy several packs per week and spend lots of money on them so I wish they work work ALL the time. My girls do LOVE the Disney Princess designs by the way.
