I'm Sorry I do not have any suggestions. I am currently in the same boat as you. I have a 3 year old boy that knows what he needs to do and will wear underwear, but repeatidly wet his underwear. He has a big brother that loves to try and teach him what to do and the kids in his preschool class are all trained, yet he refuses to want to train. I have gone over all of the training ideas that people have given me and have tried having his sitter and my sister work with him and we make some progress and think we are making headway and then he shuts down again. I really have no idea what other options to try, so I can totally empathize with you in your frustration. Let me know if you find something amazing that works for you, or just want to compare notes to see if we are missing anything that might be the key for success.

I have not trained my little boy yet but my mom had problems with my little brother. what she did to encourage him to go was to make a game out of it she would put cherios in the toilet and tell him to aim for the cherios and bam it worked. she said up until he was five she had to keep a little cup of cherios on the back of the toilet just so he would actually go to the potty. hopefully your son will want to play the game and have fun good luck.

Suggestions needed please... Training a 3 year old Boy

I am a first time Mom. We started early with a potty, just so he would not be afraid of it. He has watched his dad go many times. My son has gone on the potty a bunch of times since he was 1 years old. At almost 3 1/2, we have not found the secret to him using the pooty. He wears pull-ups is aware that he is going but doen't seem to want to use the potty. Day care is findin gthe same problem. He will sit on the potty whne asked but doesn't have to go. I have tryed rewards of all sorts but I just can't find the motivation he needs. When he does happen to use the potty he is very happy and we make a big deal out of it, but those times are so few. If anyone has any suggestions we would be very happy to hear them and try them. Thanks
