My son is also 27 months and we have tried to potty train him at multiple times but he's never interested so we would decide to give him a little more time. But at this point he needs to be trained. We just bought the Cool Alerts since my sister in law swears by them. He too seems not to notice the coolness when he pees. It might just be because he's just at the bigining of training or it could be because he's more interested to play with his trains. I will continue and see what happens. Good luck with your little girl.

27 month old daughter not responding to the Cool Alerts Pull Ups...

Aug 19, 2009 2:42 AM
So my daughter is now 27 months and recently we have been trying everything from pulling down diapers like underwear, cheap knock off training pants, cloth underwear and now we are trying the Cool Alerts Pull Ups...We have been using them for a while...It claims to have a cooling sensation within seconds of contact with pee but my daughter doesn't seem to feel anything..Like it doesn't even phase her.. I go to her and feel that she has in fact pee'd and run her to the potty asap...Sometimes she will finish with a few sprinkles into the potty then gets so excited because she feels she went..I don't want to ruin her spirit but I also don't want to keep her thinking that going pee in her Pull Ups is ok...I know she is still learning but should I just not even bother with the Pull Ups then if she's not responding to them?? Or should I just keep trying with them and hopefully catch her?? Does anyone else notice that their kids are not responding to the cooling sensation in the Pull Ups?? Please help...I don't want to give up...I'm trying my best to stay positive for my girl...

Thank you in advance :)
