Since she loves to pee in the diaper whynot poop pee smells too.

Hi Vm0mmie,

First I want to tell that you are not alone! There are many families dealing with the same issues. I know of a website that deals with this and many other things too. I think you might be able to find some answers at Goodnights.com.

hi my name is Chessie and my daughter Emily wets the bed every night. I put her in pullups for the night, she wets them, and then we take her out of them for school. Every now and then, like 4 times every month, she has an accident at school. I have asked her if she would wear her pullups to school. she doesnt care. So we tried. She came home that day with a full diaper. I told her that she can't just go in them, she has to try and make it to the potty. So she said she'd try. Well the next day she wore the pullup again, and came home wet. I asked her if she even tried to make it and she said she did. She told me that she asked the teacher if she could go potty once she was already doing the "peepee dance" and she wouldn't let her go...resulting in a wet diaper. The next day I told Emily that she had to ask to go once she felt the urge. That same day I get a call from the school saying that Emily wet herself. I go up to school with a clean pullup and I see hersitting at the nurse with her pants totally soaked. I took her into the bathroom and asked her why she hadn't been wearing the diaper. She told me that she had forgotten to put it on at home. After a quick discussion with her teacher, I found out that she had already wet herself in the pullup. I took her home and told her that the next time she wets herself at school from not asking right away, that I would give her a punishment. So, that day we went to the mall to look for more panties since all of hers had been soaked in. We were in justice and she said, "mommy I gotta go potty." I said okay and we rushed right there. Right as we approached the restroom, she busted. we went into the bathroom and I cleaned her up. I had an extra pair of pants along with a pullup in my purse since I knew it could happen anytime. We left right away and since I knew it wasn't her fault, I didn't punish her. The next day was a school day and I sent her with 2 pullups. That day she come home dry with both of them. The next day however. I was waiting in the car line when she came running up and said, I have to go NOW! I told her to get in the car and right as we did so, she peed. I took her home and asked her if there was anything wrong. She said no. I asked her if she ever goes potty at school. She said yes, but only when I need to poopoo. She actually likes to go peepee in a diaper, but not poopoo because it smells. I know there is nothing medically wrong because I've taken her to see every type of docter there is out ther. They just said that she goes because she doesn't wanna stop doing what she is doing.and that she waits until the last minute to ask. I just want to share this story with you in case anyone has been going through the same thing. Oh and right as I was typing this I got a call from Emily's friend's mother saying that she tinkled in her pants. So now I am going over there with new clean pants and everything. Oh and just to add... Ihave a 6 year old daughter too, who wets the bed ALL of the time, and she pees and poops her pants DAILY! I am so stressed out because of it! She is with me right now playing with barbies in newly wet AND soiled panties. Whoo! what a tiring day... well, I have to go change Olivia, and bring a new pair of pants and a pullup to Emily! Bye
