I have a 6 year old daughter, which she is a bed wetter. She is in pull- ups at night time. I don't buy her the cool alert pull- ups, because the cool alerts keep her up at night. She has cousins, which are exactly the same way as her. Her 6 year old cousin can't sleep in the cool alerts either, but her 8 year old cousin is allergic to the cool alerts. Maybe my 6 year old daughter's 4 year old sister might be a bed wetter too, because she has been wetting herself latley. So at night, I decided to put both of them in pull- ups.

I with my daughteralmost 3 yr old I usually stop giving her liquids about an hour or half hour before bedtime. And when I get her ready for bed I have her pee one last time, then brushes her teeth and then straight to bed. She has been doing very well lately. I even started to put on cotton panties on her and she's made some accidents, I regressed and have put the pull-ups back on her for awhile. That was a couple of months ago and now I had to motivate myself to put the panites back on her and whenever she has an accident we can't stop and keep going.
There is no going back and you just have to keep a positive attitude and she'll be dry all through the night.

This may not be what you want to hear, but sometimes, it's just something that kids have to grow out of. It isn't always a potty training thing. My little brother wet the bed until he was about 7 or 8. It could be a lot of different things why she wets the bed. Maybe you should have a talk with your ped. and see what he/she says about it. until then, try whatever you can think of. Good luck to you both!

I have a 2 year old who is finishing up on her potty training. and my routine is, i dont give her any liquids an hour before she goes to bed. while we are getting ready for bed, i take her in to go potty, i dont ask her, i tell her that its time to go potty. so she goes, then once she is all ready for bed we go in and go potty one more time. i still put a pull-up on her at night just in case because she isn't quite fully finished with her potty training, but she has stayed dry all night ever since we started this routine. its been about 3 weeks that she has not wet at night. so you could try that it really seems to work great. also rewarding your daughter for going potty before bed and for not wetting at night is a big incentive for them too! i use that for my regular potty training. she gets a sticker on her potty training chart ever time she pee's and she gets a prize out of her "prize box" when she goes poop. on the potty of course.
well i hope this helps!

One thing I would try is giving a half teaspoon of HONEY before bedtime.Never give honey to any child under 2 yrs of age. I read this in an old book written by a Dr.
Half teaspoon for ages 4-7 and one teaspoon over 8 yrs old.
Honey is good for many things like Alleriges, bed wetting and cuts and scrapes.
They can lick it right off a spoon but for cuts you apply it directly to the skin (cut)
