Don't punish. just remain patient, my son reverts back every so often as well. whatever you do don't put him back in diapers or pullups that we ruin everything that you do. there could also be a problem as well, maybe he is constipated, or there is something going on in the family. look have to look for a reason why he is doing it.

So far it seems like every situation pertains to one of my children! My third child was doing this. At first I put him in a diaper, and said that if he pooped in the diaper, he would have to change it himself. For the next 2 weeks he went in the potty. But, he started doing it again. So, I would not let him wear any pants and told him that he could either go in the potty, or go on the floor. I said that if he went poop in the potty 10 times, he could wear pants again if he kept going in the potty. Or, if he went on the floor he had to clean it up, and put it in the potty. This was the effective method, and we no longerhad any trouble.

my 3 year old was completely pooty trained and in underwear, but now he is pooping in his pants everyday. i have tryed rewards and now punishment, nothing i do seems to work he just keeps holding it until he poops his pants.
what do i do?
