So. The whole experience with my daughter has been a power struggle. I knew her temperment, so I started easy. It took about 2 months for her to feel like running to pee was her idea. Now she goes in the potty (unless she isn't fast enough) every time in the day. Night time we still use pull ups, but that is because I have not chosen to fight the "no sippy at bedtime" battle yet. The REAL problem is poop. She absolutely refuses to poop in the potty-ever. She will tell me it belongs in the potty, but has no intention on putting it there. She went once early on, but it must have freaked her out or something. I use myself and her 7 year old sister as examples, but she does not care. She has flat out said she just does not want to. So, once almost every day (she holds it a couple times a week) there is poop in her big girl panties. I have thrown away several and bleached often. Any ideas on how to convince a hard headed kid? Compounding the issue is that she will not be three until the end of November. So, where she was the one ready to pee in the potty, her age may be the obstacle here. But I am no expert....help!!!!!
