I have a 2 1/2 year old who has been potty trained since he was 1 1/2. The only catch is that he has to have nothing on his bottom. No diaper, pull-up, underwear, pants, or boxers. I trained him by letting him run around without a diaper on and when I saw that he was going I would bring him to the potty. It only took a day or so for him to catch on, before it worked. He will unrinate and have bowl movements in the potty. What do I do to get him to use the potty when he is wearing something on his bottom? I have tried rewards and it doesn't seem to work. Should I go back to square one and train him with the pull-ups on or should I wait and see if it just clicks one day and he realizes that he should be using the potty even when he has a pull-up on? Please help me...
