It's perfectly ok. My 4 year old is also in diapers. A good potty training tip is this.First, let them sit on the potty with a pull-up on so they get used to the idea of sitting on the potty. When you feel thet can carry out with underpants, let them. But another thing is they may really enjoy diapers. Its a little embarassing, but my son Brandon wears nothing BUT a diaper to pre-school. So try my method.

I wouldn't let them know that you would have to take time off from work to stay home with them for messing in there pants and wanting diapers. If it came down to this I would make the day so...so....boring that they actually hated being home when they weren't suppose to. I would not give in to the diapers at all. I would just send them to school and let them get "embarassed" if they went in there pants. This might just do the trick. If not you can let them overhear you talking to a relative or close friend and saying how childish or how embarassing it is to be wearing diapers at this stage in there life. I certaintly would not bribe them because then they will be out to get you for more bribes. The other thing is to look at is changes in there lives and make sure that they have reassurance from both parents that life is "normal" again.

i'm unsure this will work but try letting them have them for awhile and then they will figure out that just because their in diapers doesn't mean you stop working.

Well, for one, it may be BECAUSE both of you are working. They might just miss you, both of you, and remember that when they were kids in diapers that you were always around with them, so they decide that they want diapers. That's just a reason, and i can't really suggest any cure.

On a side note, quite a few kids named jenna posted about on this site...

I am a mom of 4 year old twins, Jenna and Jamison. They have been potty training since 3 and were making great progress. Then all of a sudden both of them started wetting and soiling their pull ups. Soon they were asking for diapers. I didn't give it to them until they used up all the pull ups. To save money I bought the jumbo huggies diapers size 5. They have totally regressed, now I am back to doing diaper change with 4 year olds. Any ideas why? I need help ASAP because their daycare/pre school doesn't allow kids who aren't potty trained and my husband and I both work! Why do they want baby diapers?
