my daughter will turn 4 by the end of May. She has the exactly situation like your daughter. she went pee on the toilet once a while, but she hold it for most of the time(until I put the pull up on, she go right away). I talked to her doctor, the doctor only suggest me to offer her more liquid so she will pee. However, I don't see much improvement so far. She can also hold it for almost 12 hours. I don't want her to get any infection again!

My daughter will be 4 in April and will not pee or poop on the potty..she sits on the potty, sings, reads and everything else but goes in it! She is also in preschool and they are at wits end and never ran into this either. As soon as she gets up in the morning, I take her to the potty, she sits and nothing. She goes on the potty throughout the morning @ preschool. Nothing. The minute they put a pull-up on her, she goes! Then they take it off and put underwear on her and she has nap time. I pick her up at 4pm (still in underwear) and she HOLDS it until I put a pull up on her at bedtime (I put her on the potty every 1/2 hr to try to get her to go, but she holds it---the minute I put a pull up on her she goes.) I have even stopped the pull ups and she won't pee in her pants...she once held it in for 12 HOURS!! What can I do?? She is almost 4, she should be potty trained! But I can't have her holdiing it in for that long.
I have read every book, bought different pottys, stickers, candy, toys, etc...NOTHING WORKS. This has been going on since June 2009. HELP!
