I agree with the last poster... try to put her in big girl panties during the day when she is awake.

Ok...what I did with my daughter was bought a timer just like you did. Then I decided to let her make the decision to go to the bathroom when the timer goes off. We started out with 20 min at a time and increased 5 - 10 min at a time if she didn't go when the timer went off the first time. I had to learn when she needed to go and how long in between her potty times. We then got a (1) skittle when she went to the bathroom and went potty. I also would put her in real panties during the day. If she went in her panties, she had to let me know and help clean the floor because she forgot to tell me. It took a little time, but she was not allowed to wear pull ups during the day. We are working on night time right now. I am also still trying to potty train her twin brother. This does not work for him but it worked for her. She also was excited to potty on the "big" potty not the "baby" potty because she was a "big girl" now, like mommy.

We're in a rut a lil help, please

My daughter is 2 years old and we have been potty training since shortly after her 1st birthday. She had all of the signs that she was ready to start and did very well. She would pee almost everytime in the potty, told me when she had to go but was still pooing in her pants, then we moved to an apartment with an upstairs. After the move we both got a little lazy and thing slowed down then she started telling me she had to potty when she just wanted to go upstairs. After a while I pretty much gave up. Now I am pregnant I want to get her potty trianed before the baby is born but she is being so strubborn. She won't tell me when she has to go anymore. I moved the potty downstairs for convience and so she could go on her own. I bought a kitchen timer but when the timer goes off she fusses til I make her go sit on the potty and then in no time she jumps up I big girl but she hasn't peed! I am currently putting her back on the potty and make her sit till she pees but it feels like a punishment. What can I do to get her back into the routine and to tell me when she needs to go???
