My son is the same way, It comes down to when he is "busy" playing and when he is slowed down enough to think about it. The "busier" he is playing, the more likely for accidents. During playtime, I take him to the potty every half hour or so, and he gets special stickers he picked out himself when he goes. He used to want the big potty, but now he uses the little one, but he ALWAYS wants to flush the big one once I empty the little one.

Sounds like you are on the right track and that she is fully able to use the potty but doesn't always want to during the day. If she'll go consistently when allowed to empty the potty by herself, then that might be the reward for her using the potty. If that's too messy, see if you can agree on a different reward such as a sticker or playing with a special toy afterwards. Or see if she'll be okay with you emptying the potty if she gets to flush the big potty. Good luck; she sounds very close to being trained!

My two and a half year old will go potty when we are out in public and at bedtime but has trouble being consistent at home during the day. If she does go she has to empty the potty by her self. If anyone has suggestions they would be welcome.
