Other then attention, it could be a physical problem, you should have her checked out by her physician.
I think it is probably an attention getter. You might want to go back to training pants for a little while, and start regularly taking her again. But I would definatly NOT give her any extra attention when she does do this. At the day care she sees other kids getting extra attention because they aren't potty trained and it looks like a good idea. Also, you could offer her a rewards chart and for everyday she stays dry she gets a sticker, and when she gets a certain number, she can get a special toy or something. It seems alot to understand at that age, but they do. I have a 2 1/2 yr old boy and a 1 1/2 yr old girl, we use sticker charts for both of them, all though my daughter potty trained herself before I had even started her.

Potty Re-Training or Laziness?

My 2 year old daughter has been pottied trained for little over a year and this summer, I switched her from pull-ups to "big girl" underwear. She's been doing really good since the beginning of this summer but for the last three weeks or so, she has been using the bathroom on herself - - purposely!! Around me, I don't have this problem, but at the daycare, that's when she does this. The daycare seems to think she is doing this to get their attention. I don't know what it could be?!?
Could this be a form of laziness?? Do I need to re-train her?? PLEASE HELP ME TO FIGURE THIS OUT. I'm up for any suggestions.
