My aunt gave me this advice, and it has helped me with my first two and now here I go again with my third,=) take her constantly, figure out how often by her eating drinking habits, let her know it is potty time and make it fun have her do the potty hop down the hall, sing songs or keep a potty only book, i sing the peepee in the potty song poopy in the potty peepoop in the potty abc's and stupp like that add her name my daughter thinks it is so funny and she would go with me and i would sing it for myself also, whatever works,=) keep it up,=) let her know after potty time you can color with her or play with dolls if your schedule allows,=)

My daughter works weird hours, then she sleeps all day- so I am volunteered to do the potty training. Grandaughter is 2 1/2 can pee and can poop in the potty. We even built this neat step up thing so she can climb up to the potty that fits on toilet, That attracted her for about 15 minutes. She does it when she wants. Has popped twice just s small amoun tin the potty itself then asked for "diaper" to really go. She will ask for dry "Diaper" (really pull ups) to poop in if she is wet. Will pee at will in the potty a lot , but also pees in the pull ups, no consistency. I don't know what to do, it is costing a fortune, and she can do it. I tried underwear, she literally stood in my living and peed. I bribe, I praise - I get the whole family to praise her like she discovered a cure for cancer, and still she goes when she wants and when she doesn;t want she doesn't.
