My 4 yr. old son is still potty training which has been ongoing since he was just over 2 yrs. old, and he will scream and beg for the pull-up, but as for underware, he will only allow them on long enough to pee in them. He is autistic, so I try to keep this in mind, but I understand what you are saying completely. I have figured out that he does have great control over his bladder, and when sitting on the potty, if he begins to pee, he will stop himself, which sucks, because he leads me to believe he has peed on the potty, so then I put his underware back on, and then he pees all over the place. I no longer know how to make this a posative experiance. Good luck to you.

my second daughter refuses to wear her clothes she will kick and scream everytime i try to dress her so insted of fighting with her i just let her run around the house wearing her pull up and a tshirt any ideas of what i could do?

I'm in the middle of potty training weekend and my daughter has a similar problem - she prefers to wear her pull ups during the day but not the cotton undies, which are easier to tell if she had an accident in. Instead of fighting her, I just let her run around with nothing on her bottom while we're working on potty training, then pull ups when we go out or she goes to sleep. Maybe that would work for you, too!

My daughter is potty training and doing quite well, but she refuses to wear pull ups or regular underwear. She will scream and cry and she tells me that she only wants to wear "baby diapers" Any ideas???
