HI the way I see it is each child is different,=) try something different that works for each one, my son did well because I was constantly taking him the potty since he was yound and using the potty part that lifts out for disposal for him to use standing up, by taking him constantly and reminding him when he got the hang of it he did well and was potty trained by 1 1/2 years old, used pullups at night but by limiting his drinking at night and taking him b4 bed we limited any nighttime accidents, my other son was potty trained by 2 1/2 to 3 years old beacuse he was different but same methods, =) hope this helps anyone if not make it fun sing songs or keep a potty book nearby.

It makes no difference if they are a boy or girl...Each kid learns differently. I have a son that was trained at 19 months and another son who is six and still going in his pants.

My younger sister had a hard time training her 2 boys. (She has 3 boys, but only 2 mons. old). She had the hardest time training my 4 year old nephew. My 2 year old nephew was a bit easier to train, but still difficult.

i have a 37 month old son and am actively trying to train him. i've taken a lot of advice from lots of different people. the thing that works the best for him is for him to run aroun naked. he hasn't missed a potty time yet- as long as he's naked. if i put diapers, pull ups or even underwear on him, he just goes without telling you. this is soooo---aggravating! i need help!!! we have to have him done by labor day so he can go back to school. please help! and advice would be lovely!
thank you so much
