my son is 2 and 8 months. I started his potty training since he's 2. you know, 8 months already. Now he wil go to washroom when I remind him. But.......If I forget to tell or I reminded him late, he would never tell me or go by himself. He will pee in pants. And I didn't see any sign of him. Any mom has same experience as me? Give advise please. I am so frustrated.

It's nice to know that I'm not alone. My daughter, about the same age, does real well when we are out and about. We spend Sundays at a friend's house and will go to the bathroom by herself. She will nearly always tell me when we are in a store. But at home, she doesn't even want me to clean her up when she poops in her pants. I wish I had some advice, but I'm looking for some as well.

My 2 1/2 year old boy does the same exact thing, We've been training for about 6 months, and he does great at pre school, but once he gets home he refuses to go and fights with me. I tried to get him to go every 30 minutes and now he's saying no to that....I'm stumped!

2 1/2 yr old is starting to not want to go potty

Hello, My 2 1/2 year old son has been potty training for about 6 or so months and seems to be doing great at daycare. He almost never has an accident there but when he comes home I have to fight with him to get on the potty. He does pretty well if I ask him to go about every 30 mins or so but now he is starting to tell me no he doesn't want to go, even though his teachers at daycare say he goes all day by himself at school. Any advice on what to do.
