Channing is a very happy and energetic two-year old female. She is currently in the process of potty training and is doing fairly well for her age. The daycare / early childhood development center that Channing attends works daily with her potty training. Huggies' Brand Pull-Ups Training Pants are wonderful in the our potty training process with Channing. She like being able to pull up or down her diapers when she goes to potty. Often times, she will wet her Pull-Up and then tell us that she has to pee-pee. Then she will pull off the Pull-Up and place it in or near the diaper bin or garbage can. Every time Channing uses her training potty to urinate, she quickly stand, smile and say, "I pee-peed!" We respond, "Yes! That's a Big Girl! You did it." The positive reinforcement works well with Channing. She absolutely loves it

However, getting Channing to the potty every time she has to do the number two is a different story. Luckily, Channing will not remove her Pull-Up when it's dirty; but often times, she will tell us that she boo-booed. When we check her Pull-Up, it's usually dirty. We are working hard toward the ultimate day of total potty training. For now, we know that she is aware of dynamic changes in her Pull-Ups and will usually inform us of it's contents whether wet or dirty. That's all apart of potty training a young toddler. The most important point is that she is learning. Learning leads to Understanding. Understanding leads to Doing. Doing therefore leads to Achieving. In this case, Achieving equals Total Potty Training.
Sincerely,
ChanningsDad
